Royal Bolton Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
Following a vigorous trialling and tender process ACE is to be awarded the contract to supply RBH with new Vitalis EVO single-tray patient meal trolleys.
This fantastic new system by Iseco will be the first of its kind to enter service in the UK. To be commissioned at site in October this year it will give flexibility to the operator [can be used with hot-line, cook-chill or cook-freeze service], is easy to use and clean, gives world beating economy [while the whole cavity is refrigerated only the shelves loaded with trays regenerate] and enables perfect meals to be presented to the patient at the correct temperature every service.
The Vitalis EVO trolley is available in a variety of sizes all having the capability to have the active refrigeration produced by integral compressor, stand-free compressor [docking system] or by revolutionary CarboFresh CO2 injection. The RBH catering operations and tender evaluation team opted for the stand-free compressor variant trolley - model Vitalis EVO Single 315-GN 28 level + Stand-Fresh compressor unit in a ratio of 4no trolleys to 1no compressor unit.

The Children’s Trust, Tadworth, Surrey
An order to replace the existing conventionally heated bulk-food ward service trolleys with the fantastically flexible Iseco Serelis ward service trolley was placed today by The Children’s Trust in Tadwort Surrey.
The capability of the Serelis to regenerate single portions or bulk-food at the same time within the same trolley to whatever temperature is required, plus the silent operation of the trolley at ward level and it’s capacity to maintain temperatures for up to 2 hours after regeneration without being plugged-in were vital characteristics of the trolley leading to the order being placed.
